Veuve Clicquot, J. Lohr, La Crema, Ravenswood Top Varietal Distribution

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV is the most widely distributed sparkling wine in casual and upscale casual restaurant chains, according to Winemetrics’ 2010 Chain Restaurant Wine Distribution Report. Veuve Clicquot’s Brut is available in 29 of the 104 chains in the survey, second place Moet & Chandon Extra Dry/Imperial, long the leader in on-premise distribution, had distribution in 23 chains.  Other leaders in varietal categories were J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir (just edging out Mirassou), Blackstone California Merlot, Ravenswood California Zinfandel and Kim Crawford Sauvignon Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
